This fabulous piece is heavy and beautifully made. Found in a local estate liquidation, this solid cast brass vanity mirror has a scrolled frame with lovely details, probably dating from the late 1800s. The mirror is beveled and does have a small spot, not unusual for an antique mirror with silvered backing (Not to a fault). It appears it may have originally had an easel arm on the back which is no longer present but there is a wire present for hanging on a wall. There are no breaks or missing details. The brass is in excellent condition and has retained a nice old patina. The overall size of this piece is 12 1/2" x 10 1/2". The mirror portion measures approximately 7 1/2" x 5 1/2". This is a lovely antique!
