Majolica

Lead or tin glazed earthenware from the Victorian era.  Majolica is usually brightly decorated and was produced in a variety of unusual shapes and designs such as animal pitchers, shell and seaweed tea sets and fan shaped platters.

Opaque white glass originally called opal ware.  It was first made in England in an attempt to imitate porcelain.
